University police arrested Missouri senior guard Jordan Barnett early Saturday morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated for failing to drive within a single lane.
Police arrested Barnett at Ashland Road and Stadium Boulevard at 3:26 a.m. The team is aware of Barnett’s arrest, but has not made any comments regarding his status for the NCAA Tournament.
Missouri fell to Georgia in the opening round of the SEC tournament 62-60. Barnett contributed three points and four rebounds in the team’s loss.
The 6’11 senior has provided quality minutes as a starter this year for the Tigers, averaging over 34 minutes per game. He is also Missouri’s leading scorer this season averaging more than 13 points per game.
Cuonzo Martin’s team is now down to seven scholarship players and walk-on Brett Rau. Michael Porter Jr. is also active for the NCAA Tournament after making his return against Georgia.
